The second largest continent in both in terms of land area and population. Africa is bounded on the north by the Mediterranean Sea, by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Red Sea to the northeast, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast. Africa has fifty-three sovereign countries and also is a destination worth exploring.

A visit to the continent of Africa gives travelers the opportunity to see the longest river: Nile which flows all the way from Uganda to Egypt. Also worth a visit is The lake Victoria – the second largest lake in the world that can be visited from Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda. The tallest mountain in Africa – Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is also worthy a visit. The mighty Victoria falls – the largest in Africa is over 1 mile wide and 355 feet high. During the wet season over 500 million liters of water plummets over the edge into the Zambezi River. The spray can be seen from over 30 miles away.

The most visited countries in Africa includes: Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Seychelles & Mauritius. Other destinations which are gaining popularity includes Morocco & Tunisia.

The mid-east is the term used in reference to a cluster of countries of western Asia & North Africa. For touristic purpose the region comprises of Dubai (UAE), Jordan, Turkey & Egypt.
